Few days ago I found Niklas Janson amazing tutorial on Photoshop digital painting (or any type of digital painting:) check him out. i can honestly say this guy's stuff just launched me into another space of digital painting. Thank u man!I did this fast digital sketch in an hour time with only soft/hard edge brushes different opacity NO SMUDGE TOOL:)
