Real digital painting #1 :)

I don't know why I have chosen him for this painting, may be
because he is my favorite bodybuilder-Flex Wheeler
First I made a sketch, then in another layer I started painting basic colours(at a later point i separated Mr. Wheeler from the background which i painted in yet another layer, i find easier to do the background colour mix) I did one more layer for the details on the top and removed the sketch layer....
After 2 and a half -3 hours of work this is where I reached...
To be continued!

OK, I'd just got it yesterday!!!for so long i was trying to paint in Photoshop by adjusting the opacity of the brush, wondering how all those other digital artist, get this realistic paintings with their tablets and I CAN'T.....and then....I remembered there was a DVD bundle that was supplied with the Wacom tablet. I uploaded Wacom brushes2 to the Photoshop brushes and ...voila i got PRESSURE SENSITIVE AND RESPONDING tablet...i was very happy and after a little play with the new brushes I started painting, what I consider, my first real digital painting...( Anyway I still think that i need a great deal of improvement to achieve before I could consider myself good:)
